- Each virtual server is directly connected to a local RAID 10 disk array; compared to network connected disks offered by most other cloud offerings
- Persistent instances: A virtual server instance is not lost if a system crashes or hardware failure occurs; unlike the largest cloud based virtual server offerings
- All sites (other than low traffic $5 plans) have their own dedicated IP address
- Automatic backups: your system is backed up both within the Cloud and to our own private non-cloud servers. Optionally, for complete peace-of-mind, we can backup to your own on-site hardware instead of ours
- Managed ongoing security audits for both the operating system and each Moxie system.
- Managed upgrades and security updates for both the operating system and Moxie
- Managed resource allocation - we monitor and recommend adjustments as necessary
- Only pay for what you use - for smaller sites you don't pay for a whole virtual machine, and for larger sites, the size of your virtual machine can be increased or decreased whenever necessary
- All sites that share the same virtual machine are completely isolated from each other: each runs under its own limited access user account and folder structure. There are zero shared processes, files, or resources beyond that of the base operating system itself. A site may also scale seamlessly towards a dedicated virtual machine; paying for 2, 3, or 4 of the 5 slots available
